The following is a list of retirement accounts available.
Traditional IRA
This is an individual retirement account with tax-deferred savings.
Roth IRA
An individual retirement account with tax-free qualified distributions.
Direct Rollover
This is the movement of assets from a qualified retirement plan (401k) directly into a Vintage IRA. This is a common practice when leaving a job.
Asset Transfer
This is the movement of money from one retirement account at another financial institution to a similar retirement account in the Vintage Funds. For instance, you could move your Traditional IRA from another bank into a Traditional IRA using the Vintage Funds.
403b7
The 403b7 plan is a tax-deferred retirement plan that helps employees of public schools or nonprofit organizations save for retirement. Contributions to the plan are excluded from gross income. Since contributions to the plan are made through a salary reduction agreement, income tax payment is delayed until distributions are received (usually at 59½ years of age). This pre-tax feature makes the 4013b plan an attractive alternative to IRAs which are funded with after-tax dollars.
